C.N.B. Vilanova BTC-Guardian starts off new regular season with a win
Our sponsored junior basket team don’t deceive and get their first win in the regular season with a run of 75 – 54 against C.B. Cornellá Groc playing home. The team set the ground for the victory in the first 2 quarters, playing strong and surprising a Cornella team that had difficulties finding their pace and path into the game. At half time break BTC-Guardian was up 20 points. A gap Cornellá never closed despite finding rythm and playing better their second half. Probably worthwile to mention that free throws helped building up the gap. Both #5 (Nico & Iván) went most to the line with very different results: 6/8 for BTC-Guardian vs 1/12 for Cornellá. This way the 24 points scored by #14 Jimenez from C.B. Cornellá didn’t make a real difference to the match.
Look forward to the next game @L’H against C.B. Sant Josep Obrer this weekend.
